For 'The Allensford Suite' you can park next to the downstairs loading doors and stay here all gig. ACCESS: From the van go through a set of double loading doors into the laundry room. Then it's two flights of internal stone steps to the first floor. Go through another set of double doors and stage is at the back of the room. FACILITIES: Temporarily constructed low wooden stage at the back of the room. Setup would be in this position even if the stage wasn't there as it's the only place you can do it here. STAFF: Staff here are great. Fully manned bars, waitresses, wedding planners on hand and even the manager was helping set the room out. Last orders 00:30 with music off at 01:00. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "High end venue suitable for the classier Wedding Receptions / Corporate Events / etc. Most rooms here have a black tie dress code. This suite can happily cater for 200 guests. Superb venue." | |||||||

Ample parking for easily over a hundred cars. Specific parking spaces for entertainers working in any of the five function rooms (outside of each room), ACCESS: Access to The Grand Room is via the kitchens. Park in the designated space and take the kit through the rear kitchen loading door and turn right through a set of double doors directly into the room. FACILITIES: Setup can be across the rear wall, over the rear left corner or along the left side wall. We had a band setup in the left corner so chose the left side wall which has ample room, sockets and directly faces the dancefloor. Perfect. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: This venue is very well staffed. The kitchen staff, bar staff, waiters, attendants and even the Wedding Planners were all on hand to help out, give us advice and assist with any and every detail we needed to know. This is the best service we have EVER had !! POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Weve worked here before (in a different room) but this time we were hosting the main attraction of the night. The Grand Room is like nothing you have ever seen before. Huge amounts of space, balconies, vast artworks and 20 foot long hanging chandeliers. Perfect venue for high end Wedding Receptions / Corporate Functions / etc. This is simply the best venue we have ever worked in - you will LOVE it !! " | |||||||
