Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Parking is very limited here. There are a couple of spaces on the front street main road directly outside of the pub but they fill up very quickly. Space for one entertainer at the back of the building. ACCESS: From the rear of the building, carry the kit through a set of wrought iron gates, through the kitchen loading doors and into the function room. Its a small hike but quite easy. Mostly flat and level. FACILITIES: The best you are ever going to get here is a small corner. The whole of the downstairs of the venue is quite long and thin with nowhere to site a large rig. Pick a corner, set up a few lasers to do the job and stay here all night. - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Very cool staff. Landlady Fiona loves a great night (and rock music) so play plenty of AC/DC and youll have a gig here for life. Bar staff very friendly and helpful too. No complaints here :) POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Small venue but its quite deceiving - you can pack quite a lot of people into this one. Not room for loads of equipment but they dont seem to mind. Great, friendly locals who just like to have a good time. Ideal venue for most small to medium events." | |||||||
