Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: There is a car park to the right hand side of the venue, located directly behind the conservatory / function room. At a guess room for maybe 20 to 30 cars. More than enough for a venue of this size. ACCESS: The function room has its own access to save you from having to load equipment through the main front doors of the pub (hence there is no need to disturb punters in the bar to access the function room). FACILITIES: There is not a huge amount of space to set up in the conservatory room. Minimal lights required - again this is one of those venues best served by a small rig (lasers and spot lights) rather than large screens. - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2m or less STAFF: Friendly and polite - happy to help where they can. Better than a lot : ) POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "This venue is a nice, picturesque little country pub - pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Ideal for a nice chilled out, small relaxing party. Not the easiest place in the world to find but once there everyone is friendly and polite and it seems to be at the centre of a nice local, close knit community. Ideal for smaller but mid to high end occasions. We noted that the venue is currently on the market so a management change is likely looming." | |||||||
