Permanent wooden dancefloor High permanent stage No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: There is a smallish car park to the rear of the building. Typically this should be able to cope with 20 - 30 cars. For loading, reverse up to the front doors, load through here then move to the main car park. ACCESS: From vehicle, through a set of double front doors, go straight ahead through a second set of double interior doors directly into the main hall. Carry kit to the far end of the hall where a reasonably large stage is located with access via steps at either side. FACILITIES: Fairly large stage with plenty of room for a full sized rig (including screens). Power points located around the sides and to the rear of the stage. Also has lots of room for equipment / case storage. - width available: 4-5m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: Friendly, polite and happy to help. The caretaker ensures the hall is opened on time though it is up to the organiser to clear up after the function and leave the hall in a neat and tidy condition. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Ideal venue for most types of party / gathering. There is a bar located elsewhere in the building, though the main hall itself has nothing except the stage. Kitchens and WC facilities can also be found in other parts of the building," | |||||||
