Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: There is a small car park to the front of the building which also runs around the right side. Spaces for around 30 cars. There is a dedicated space for the entertainer round the back next to the loading doors. ACCESS: From the van go up five external stone steps, through the loading doors and the stage is immediately on the right. Very quick and easy but be careful when loading out in the dark as there is no external light. FACILITIES: Low, wide stage at the rear of the function room. Great for most setups and no real space issues. Very good. STAFF: The steward and bar staff are very pleasant folks and will do what they can to help. Strict finishing time here though. Last orders are 22:55 with music off at 23:00. No late nights allowed. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The venue is situated at the end of a row of terraced houses. Loud music going on really late is not allowed. Great venue for most occasion types though with a function room for up to around 80 guests." | |||||||
