Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Small car park to the front of the building suitable for around 15 cars. Entertainer can park immediately right of the main front doors (across a keep clear chevron zone) and remain here all gig after 18:00. ACCESS: From the parking space go up a short ramp and through glass double doors into the foyer. Then go through a set of double wooden doors into the function room. Set up across the far left corner. FACILITIES: It's basically a corner. Diagonal setup works best here facing the dancefloor. No stage but plenty of room for a medium to large rig with screens. STAFF: Only two bar staff were present but they were very friendly, polite and happy to help. Kept us watered, operated the lights, advised of timings, brought us tables, etc. Last orders 23:45 with music off by 00:00. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "This is a very smart, modern venue with a function room which can hold around 100 guests. It has a separate room for buffet setting / escaping the noise and various other side rooms which the guests can use." | |||||||
