This review was provided by 5 Star Discos No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned Temporary wooden dancefloor No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Area for service vehicles which you can park in right beside the access door ACCESS: Up a half flight of stairs and in through a double fire door. That is you in the room and you set up in the left corner. FACILITIES: In the corner facing out across the room/dancefloor. 2 double sockets less than 5M from DJ area. STAFF: Very nice and helpful. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Lovely room with a good setup area." | |||||||

Few steps up into the room fire exit but otherwise convenient. FACILITIES: Corner setup. Plenty of space and height. Through corridor and doors to upstairs main stage. There is also access through another set of doors to a smaller stage that can be set up in front of main stage. nNot a difficult load in. FACILITIES: On main stage in front of curtain. Plenty of width although bit tight in front of curtain - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Helpful to a degree. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Best thing I could say was that I asked Events Manager had they done a lot of weddings here and was surprised by her answer!! Arrangements made by me with Hall prior to gig were all changed.. Even the balloons got preference to the disco!! B&G also not happy with their arrangements but according to them , "all they got was excuses". n" | |||||||
