Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Parking was available outside the door to the function room. ACCESS: Access to function room was via 5/6 external staircase. Once inside, it would be advisable to have a cart , as the stage is on the other side of the room. And it's a large long room! FACILITIES: Set up area is up on a corner stage. Probably about 3 feet high. One of your speakers would be facing above one of the tables which is never ideal, especially as it's a large room and would need good volume! STAFF: Staff were friendly and helpful enough. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A venue with fairly easy access. It's a large venue with modern decor. Only drawback is the stage which is placed in a recessed corner of the room. Considering the size of the place, it's not ideal. " | |||||||

Parking was available fairly near the back door to the reception area. ACCESS: Access was by outside side stairs with about 5/6 steps. The stage is at the other side of a large hall, so a trolley is recommended once you get your gear in the door. FACILITIES: A small stage is available at the corner of the hall. Power sockets are at one side of the stage. Their is a sound limiter set up but it is not being used. There are 3 double sockets available STAFF: Management and staff were very helpful POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The reception hall was large and spacious. It seemed newly decorated and was a very fresh looking room. It was let down somewhat with the stage which is set at an angle to the room. It actually had a corner peice added on to make it protrude more from the corner! It also has nice features which look great with mood lighting. All in all, a very nice venue." | |||||||
