Permanent wooden dancefloor PLI requested PAT requested No useable in-house lighting effects No windows No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited SOUND LIMITER - SENSITIVE PARKING: Parking for deliveries should be made via the private road that leads to the back of the building. There should be enough parking at the back of the venue, but if its full, theres plenty of other parking a short walk away in the grounds of Middleton Lodge ACCESS: You should be able to get pretty close to the marquee to load in, the only obstacles may be staff cars. Once parked up, the entrance to the marquee is just a matter of meters away. You go through two doors into the kitchen area and just two metres from that entrance is the door to the dance floor area. Very easy access and only a short step up to get in and trolleys with pneumatic tyres should be able to get in, so those heavy items of equipment can be wheeled in. FACILITIES: Approximately 25% of the marquee is set up for entertainment. Theres a wooden floor and the setup area for the DJ is blacked out with starlit cloth. It may be a good idea to bring a torch as theres not an awful lot of light in that area - especially at the end of the night. n nThe black starlit drapes hang down quite low and theres only approximately 2.5m of clearance before any lighting bars or speakers on stands will start to touch the cloth. n nThere are plenty of power sockets and 5-10m - wi STAFF: The Wedding Co-Ordinators are all very professional. Anna Russell, Anna (there are two) and Alex were the three staff members who deal with weddings at Middleton Lodge (correct as of 29.09.2015). The latter Anna was the main point of contact at the event and she is very professional and aims to make sure things run as smoothly as possible. n nThe other staff members were considerate, polite and friendly. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "If you need to get changed, there is a clean and dry disabled toilet in the office section of the building. As its a private Staff Only area, someone will wait in the office while you get changed - thats only fair as youre basically a stranger in a sensitive area of the venue. n nWatch out for the sound limiter as it is situated right next to the setup area. If it kicks in, it will cut off power for ten seconds to the sockets around the dance floor. A sound test at the start of the event, with n" | |||||||
