Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Not great, I was more lucky getting where I wanted to be. Its a private road but not a great deal of spaces. ACCESS: If you ahve a cart or trolley it will be easier but flag stones not to even and my small wheeled trolley was all over. One tight doorway but other wise flat and easy. FACILITIES: This was the let down, I was with a band, if I was alone it would have been great, as it was I was cramped in the corner. Id score the area better however if you have the whole room. STAFF: No issues with the staff, polite and helpful POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Its a large square room which can probably be set up in a number of ways. I liked the place as its very sceneic" | |||||||

Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned PLI requested PAT requested Some useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: There is a car park to the front of the building with parking for around 50 cars maximum. Its fairly easy to get a space here and remain here all gig. ACCESS: The loading doors are to the left of the building and have no vehicular access unfortunately. Park the van as near to the left of the building (in the front car park) as you can then its a carry around the side of the building, through two sets of double loading doors into a hallway then through a third set of double glass doors into the main hall. FACILITIES: No stage but a nice wide setting up area located along the back wall of the room. More than enough space for pretty much any sized rig. Be aware that there are various UHF signals floating around from all of the wireless / CB equipment that the staff use which can interfere with amps / mics / etc. We had to change our frequencies after some pretty bad clashes. - width available: 4-5m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: Way better than most. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A stunning venue and very well set up to cater for high end engagements, wedding receptions, corporate events and the like. The venue boasts an air of class about it and we had a great time working here. A definite recommendation for future bookings. The staff were present in the main hall throughout the entire evening making sure everybody knew where they were supposed to be and what they were meant to be doing. They organised tables, chairs, drinks, hog roast service, last orders, clearing out" | |||||||
