The Academy Bar, located within the Students' Union Quarter at the University of Derby, Kedleston Road is the perfect venue for all types of events, whether it is a business meeting, networking event, away day, staff party or even a personal celebration such as a birthday, christening or even a wedding anniversary.

With unrivalled facilities, such as the 12 x 7 metre stage, 18 University networked computers, the big screen, spacious working area and our stunning outside decking area with panoramic views of Derbyshire looking over Markeaton Park; which is ideal for outdoor tasks, team building activities, respites and even a glass of wine or a cool beer in the sun after a long day of training.

The Academy also offers a licensed bar, offering a wide range of hot and cold drink options and food catering to suit your needs whether it's a buffet, hog roast or even a BBQ.

These facilities are located at the Kedleston Road site meaning plenty of car parking spaces. The venue can be exclusively yours for the day during June, July and August as well as being available for private hire during the evenings including Friday and Saturday nights.
