"Very small room so minimal kit is required. Sound must be monitored due to the location being in a residential area and being in a glass conservatory. You will need to turn down volume and bass from around 10pm and its a strict midnight finish. Also gets very hot in the summer as doors have to be closed after 10pm due to noise restrictions." |

"The hotel carpark can get quite busy but I have been there as a DJ and as an attendee of events and have always managed to park. There are a couple of spaces reserved for loading/unloading nearer the entrance and we were able to use on of these to unload then moved the car to a nearby space. " | |

It isn't far and its all on one level but you do need to be careful to carry stuff past wedding guests and through a tight doorway, but nothing that would be a major problem for a typical mobile DJ setup appropriate for this sized venue." | |

"In advance of the event the venue will ask you to sign a waiver agreeing to comply with strict sound levels, and also indemnifying them against any damage you cause to the venue. On sound limited front its just a handheld device and didn't cause us any issues as the room isn't that big which makes it sound louder than it is anyway so you need to turn down the bass anyway or it would just be too much for the room. Please also note that the layout of the beautiful venue and function room means that after the wedding breakfast you must wait for the hotel staff to clear the room before you can start bringing your equipment in, and there isn't enough space for you to setup before their meal. Inevitably wedding speeches run overtime, so you are likely to be squeezed on time for setup. " |
