This review was provided by Excalibur Mobile Disco Permanent wooden dancefloor High permanent stage Decent house lighting rig available No sound limiter No windows No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Good. Adequate tarmac park, you can back up next to a fire exit to unload. From there it's a long way to the stage area, good trolley required. ACCESS: Reasonable. All flat, bar a two inch step in a doorway. Full length of a huge shed to the stage. FACILITIES: Vast, just like the venue. Main stage is four feet high, with a lower level as well. There's also a small corner stage as well. The venue is fitted with a full lighting rig for all manner of performances, but staff members who know how to operate it fully may not be present. STAFF: Very helpful. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Absolutely huge room, walls adorned with showman's organs. There's a similar room next door with fairground rides which might be offered to guests at the beginning of the function. Whole venue is built as a visitor attraction, and well worth a visit at a later date. " | |||||||
