No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned Vinyl or stone floor area for dancing No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Very small car park to the front of the hall with parking for around 10 cars. There is no dedicated entertainer space so get there early and park outside of the front doors. ACCESS: Through the double glass front doors take the gear along a small reception area into the main hall. Setup is best in one of the corners as there are sockets in all four. FACILITIES: The room is best compared to a small sports hall. Flat and level with no stage. Pick a corner and set the gear up across it. STAFF: There is a caretaker who opens the hall up for entry then goes. She returns at the end to assist with the tidy up and then locks up. Friendly enough and sorted us a table out. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Modern looking, newish community centre in the middle of a housing estate. Non-licenced so best suited to local community events, children's parties, etc. Great hall suitable for around 100 guests. Tables and chairs can be laid out upon request. " | |||||||
