Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter PLI requested PAT requested Some useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: There is a very large car park to the front of the hall suitable for at least 80 vehicles, if not more. ACCESS: Park at the main entrance, carry the gear through double glass doors into the lobby, load it into the lift and go to the first floor. Then, go along a short corridor, through double doors into the hall and to the far end of the room in front of the large windows. FACILITIES: Set up in front of the windows at the far side of the room. There is no stage but plenty of space for the largest of rigs and a band! There are also two wings by the bar, either of which could be used as alternative set up areas. STAFF: The staff here are extremely helpful and friendly. Happy to help where they can, sorted us with tables, helped to carry equipment, operated the house lighting, kept us informed of timings, etc. Last orders are 23:45 with absolute music off by 00:00. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The load in is quite in depth so allow plenty of time to get the gear in and up to the room. Very pleasant environment to work in with great staff and some spectacular countryside views." | |||||||
