Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided PLI requested PAT requested No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Parking is ample ACCESS: Access is good and level, although you will need to have wheeled cases or trucks of some kind, its quite a walk. Smaller items can be carried through a fire exit, although there is a side board just inside the door which makes access with trucks impossible. From the van to fire exit is around 15 metres, the option is to use the main doorway into the function room and walk back down to the set up area an additional 40 metres. The route is part concrete and part patio slabs, can be slippy in the FACILITIES: The function room is a good size, with polished wooden floor over the majority of the area, not very high ceiling and the management had decorated with bunting on my last visit, which may interfere with some lighting. nSetting up centrally in front of the large fireplace was favourite, as the fire exit is one side and the staff require access to cabinets on the other side of the room. There are a couple of sockets available to the side of the fireplace, may require short extension leads. n - wi STAFF: Friendly and helpful POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A really nice venue, if you have a minimalist set-up, also with a separate room for wedding breakfasts its possible to load in for evening receptions without disturbing the guests.
