Permanent wooden dancefloor Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects SOUND LIMITER (not sensitive) No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Gravel car park with plenty of space. Best to park near rear fire exit door. ACCESS: The club house is not on the same level as the car park. I used the rear fire escape, which involves around 3 steps, and through a single door and you are into the function room. Can go through the front, where there is a ramp up to the club-house level, then through the double door and into the club house. FACILITIES: Not a huge room, which means there is not a huge setup area. The room has a permanent dance floor which stops around 2ft from the walls, so will need to setup partially on the dance floor. Access to gents toilets is right next to the setup area, and needs to be kept clear. Double power socket located under the sound limiter, may need to flick red switch to turn on. Handful of other sockets around the room as well. STAFF: Very Pleasent. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Sound limiter appears to be set at a very reasonable limit and didn't present a problem at all. Apparently allows 10 seconds over limit before cutting power. " | |||||||

ACCESS: Up three steps, through Fire Door, set up area just inside the door. nYou have Ladies Loo to your left. FACILITIES: Fairly small as cant block Fire Door or Ladies Loo. Got my reasonably sized rig in comfortably. - width available: 2-3m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Steward very helpful, other Staff very pleasant also. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "You will need a long extension as the limiter socket is on opposite side of room to DJ set up area. nThe actual limiter warning lights are very low down and obscured by dancers. nOn the good side it never went to amber whilst I was playing, did use my lower powered speakers, but had them up to a reasonable volume for the size of the room." | |||||||
