Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Raised floor area No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Large car park at the side with additional parking at the rear next to external staircase ACCESS: Park next to rear external staircase, up a few flights of stairs in to rear of the small function room. Can usually get access all day so can setup and come back. Poorly lit and stairs can be slippy if wet. Always an option to come back down the internal stairs if you choose. FACILITIES: Small setup area, just big enough to fit a booth in with overhead bar. Speakers need to go on the dancefloor either side STAFF: Very helpful POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A nice intimate room with ample dancefloor for the number of guests. A small stage area (effectively above a bay window) may provide tricky for some larger setups. Speakers will need to go on the dancefloor either side. Would recommend coming earlier than normal if its your first time here as not all booths may fit in the normal setup area. If you contact the venue in advance they're usually happy for you to be in at any point during the day. " | |||||||
