Haze/smoke allowed No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Carpeted dancing area No stage area PARKING: Medium sized car park to the rear of the building suitable for around 30 cars. Easy to access and handy for both the venue itself and the outdoor function marquee. ACCESS: When loading the marquee, reverse up to front of it where the main access door flaps are located. Take the gear through the doors and to the back of the marquee. Setup is along the rear wall as this is where the power sockets come in. FACILITIES: The marquee is not a massive one and its filled with large round tables and chairs. Only a small rig is needed in here. A couple of screens will fit but best to do it with lasers and spotlighting if possible. - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2m or less STAFF: Staff are great. They help where they can, tend to the guests frequently, serve food and drinks and keep you right with timings. Due to noise pollution seeping into the nearby housing estate there is a strict 22:00 music off policy - no exceptions !! POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The Lakeside Marquee is ideal for small to medium sized functions of any type. Pretty easy to get equipment in and out of and suitable for around 60 guests. 10pm music off policy can be a bit of an atmosphere killer but rules are rules." | |||||||
