Permanent wooden dancefloor High permanent stage No sound limiter PLI requested No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: There is no on site park apart from one space assigned to the vicar, which we were lucky enough to be able to park in for the short time we were there. Generally though, it would be reverse up to front doors, load kit in and then move to a nearby side street for parking. ACCESS: Through the very large, traditional style church front doors, turn left and head directly into the main hall. There is a large stage at the rear of the hall with access via five large wooden steps. The stage is usually laid out with a set from on ongoing play / performance so take care not to disturb. FACILITIES: Large, high stage located at the back of the hall. Very wide with lots of room for the largest of rigs. Virtually no limitations here... setup whatever you want and you are guaranteed enough room to do it !! - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Friendly, polite and happy to help. The hall is run by a community committee as you would expect and they are very good at what they do. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Great venue for any event. However, access to power is somewhat lacking. Sockets are to the stage right and behind a lot of wall space so make sure that you have very long extensions capable of reaching the sockets else you may have problems. We had to daisy chain three extensions together to get from the power board to stage centre. Its probably easier when the stage isnt rigged for a performance but from our experience - take plenty extensions !! Very large, echoey room so it might even be wor" | |||||||
