PARKING: Not great. The building is surrounded by double yellow lines. All of the side streets are for residents only from 8am to 6pm. After 6pm anyone can park there so its fine for evening events. Daytimes are a bit tricky if you dont have a residents parking disc though.

ACCESS: Park on the pavement next to the double yellows with hazards on for loading. Then its through the spring loaded front double doors, walk to the rear of the building, up three flights of internal stairs, through a set of double doors into the function room and carry kit to the stage at the back of the room. To be honest, extracting cheese from a horse would be easier !! Lots of door chocks and roadies needed. Not easy. Load out is even more fun when the punters are all hanging around the stairs

FACILITIES: Perfect. Nice medium level stage at the back of the room with loads of sockets and is nice and wide for the largest of rigs. Plenty of room behind for storing cases. Changing room to stage right. House lights / effects control panel directly to the right of the stage also. - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: 2-3m

STAFF: Nice and friendly. Actually understood what a risk assessment was and were happy to fill it in. Kept us right with timings. Cleared room afterwards. Seems very nice. We certainly didnt have any problems.

POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The loading into / out of this venue is an absolute nightmare. However, once youre in the upstairs function room can easily accommodate a couple of hundred guests. The only problem is the heat - its like a sweatshop up there. The lack of air conditioning combined with the lack of windows (i.e. none !!) makes it VERY VERY hot. You need fans running on the stage to get a bit of relief and keep the equipment as cool as possible during the event. This is the first time we have ever had the thermal c"
