Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Floral Hall has its own parking but in two sections with not many spaces near the building itself. Parking will be easy if you arrive before most other people. After that it could be difficult to park close. ACCESS: Distance 20-50 metres. Via main entrance involves steps. Side entrance has narrow ramped access. Doors open outwards and could need something heavy to hold open. FACILITIES: Flat surface (no stage). Venue may have tables available depending what is being used for the event. Several sockets around the room. - width available: 4-5m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: Friendly and accommodating. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Room size and shape may lend itself to connecting additional speakers further down the room to help with acoustics. Would recommend at least a small number of uplighting fixtures around the room." | |||||||

No designated area or stage. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Nice and helpful. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Plenty of room. It gets very chilly - take a jacket!" | |||||||
