The car park is set slightly on a higher level than the building itself but is only a very short walk away. ACCESS: Not too bad. Park your vehicle adjacent to the main side entrance and theres a short walk into the bar. FACILITIES: No specific function room, rather a collection of small rooms with alcoves and nooks & crannies, part of the fabric of this centuries old building. The staff cleared a small area adjacent to the bar of tables and chairs and the disco was set up in this fairly restricted area. Solid tiled floor, quite low ceiling with low beams. There is an emergency exit door in this area and this was used to bring in the equipment. Only two power sockets available here. Smoke was allowed in small quantities. - STAFF: Friendly and helpful. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "An old historic building, not really suited to discos as there is no specific function room or dancing area. " | |||||||
