Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Large car park but this is about a few minutes walk from the actual pavilion along a path. ACCESS: Easy access - venue advised us to drive through gate on path and reverse along it right up to the double fire exit doors at the far end of the pavilion. FACILITIES: Area that the staff wanted us to set in was in front of the fire doors and was not very large! We set up in front of the windows at the far end of the room opposite the bar where there was much more room. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Problematic - see comments POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Venue staff were unhappy that we refused to set up where they asked us to as this was in front of the fire exit doors! We pointed out that wed be blocking them and causing an obstruction but the member of staff concerned said "Youll just have to leave a space to one side"!!! As it was, our set up was too large for the area the staff member had asked us to use so we set up at the far end of the room, immediately opposite the bar. " | |||||||
