"Berwick Lodge is an outstanding venue, a beautifully restored country manor house which is privately owned and presents a perfect location for an exclusive wedding or party. There is also a conference centre on site and a cookery school! It is set amidst 18 acres of woodland (Berwick Wood) and offers beautiful gardens plus an ideal opportunity to have a larger celebration for up to 400 guests in a marquee on the lawn.
Weddings at Berwick Lodge are exclusive and the venue is licensed to hold civil marriage and partnership ceremonies within The Mews. Guests can decide whether to marry at the venue or hold their ceremony elsewhere and then have their reception here. There's even a helipad if you want to arrive in style!
Whether you want to hold you wedding at Berwick Lodge, a corporate event, afternoon tea for a baby shower or a family celebration, the friendly staff will help you create the event you've envisaged. They can cater for a variety of different events and offer everything from a BBQ, canapes, A la carte dining, buffets or afternoon tea. We enjoyed a BBQ as part of a wedding celebration that was cooked on the terrace outside of The Mews and was truly delicious with plenty of food - no skimping on portions here!
There are a number of different rooms available and for a function inside the main house at Berwick Lodge, there is a maximum capacity of 80 guests, in The Mews they can also accommodate 80 and for larger events of up to 400, a marquee can be erected in the grounds. There is also a charming Summer House available within the beautiful gardens where you can choose to host an intimate private dinner or afternoon tea for up to 6 people.
Guest accommodation at Berwick Lodge is in one of 10 beautifully restored luxurious Anatolian-inspired bedrooms, each with its own individual design style and en-suite facitilies. The rooms are absolutely STUNNING and offer guests a beautiful place to relax and enjoy their sumptuous surroundings. Added extras are available such as champagne, flowers and in room beauty treatments delivered by professional therapists.
