This review was provided by Ruby Tunes Mobile Disco Air conditioned Vinyl or stone floor area for dancing No useable in-house lighting effects No windows No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited SOUND LIMITER - Moderately sensitive PARKING: You can usually find a space on Westgate Street from 6pm, no point getting there any earlier as you can't set up in The Roman Baths before then anyway ACCESS: Before Christmas 2017 you used to be able to drive along the pedestrianised area in front of Bath Abbey and pull up right outside the Roman Baths which left a short distance to carry equipment into The Reception Hall. However the council put concrete bollards around the Abbey for the Christmas Market - most of which have been removed apart from one which blocks the access to the churchyard for vehicles. This means the best option is to Park on Westgate Street and then carry/trolley your equipmen FACILITIES: Quite a large space in the corner of The Reception Hall STAFF: Absolutely brilliant, helpful and friendly I have played here and the adjoining Pump Rooms many times and the staff are lovely POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Sound limiter is not always turned on as it is very sensitive - just be sensible and turn down if asked" | |||||||

This review was provided by Nighthawk Mobile Disco & Karaoke No sound limiter PLI requested No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Parking is quite difficult in Bath so try and look in advance for car parks near to any venue as on street can be expensive. Normally ok for loading and unloading but still be aware!!!! ACCESS: Access is certainly not the easiest from any road as it is in a pedestrian area, you can drive into this area for loading but risky early on as a lot of people normally about as having to drive over a pavement for access. Once unloaded my set up area was just inside to left FACILITIES: The pump Room are not very good for acoustics as mainly all stone no stage area just set up in the corner of a very nice historic landmark room, it's like playing in a church. STAFF: Staff were very nice and welcoming. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A extension lead of approx 15meter required as no sockets were very close in the room I was in. There are various rooms which are available but none appear to be easy access but still would love to go back." | |||||||
