"DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol South (also known as Cadbury House) is a modern meets traditional venue located in a semi-rural area in the South of Bristol at Congresbury. It stands on a hilltop providing excellent views of the surrounding North Somerset countryside and is a perfect venue not only for weddings, but for other parties and celebrations as well. It boasts fabulous spa and leisure facilities which also make it an ideal destination for Hen weekends. There are also rooms suitable for conferences and meetings plus extensive outdoor space for team building activities and breakout days.

The original construction of Cadbury House was carried out in 1790, the result of which is this beautiful building, serving initially as a private residence but more recently it has seen use as a school, and latterly a luxury country club. In 2003 it was taken over and a multi-million pound face lift took place resulting in the house and grounds being tastefully restored, although it still retains many of its original period property features.

For weddings at the hotel, many of the rooms at the hotel are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and the venue can cater for hundreds of people for such an occasion. Ceremonies can be held both inside and out in a thatched gazebo which offers spectacular views.

There are 11 spaces that can be used for events, parties and weddings and amongst these the largest is known as The Great Room. This large and contemporary space is ideal for 80+ guests for a formal afternoon reception, and up to 350 for an evening party! It also seats up to 350 for a civil wedding ceremony, making this a truly versatile room.

The Master Room is a great place to hold more intimate weddings and evening parties. It can very easily accommodate 40 guests for a formal wedding breakfast, and for evening reception and parties up to 140 people can use the room.

The Drawing Room is a very striking space that is perfect for between 50 and 100 guests for a formal reception, and then 150 for a more informal evening party. However, this room is located directly beneath bedrooms and the volume level of live bands and discos is closely monitored by the staff so as not to cause a disturbance to guests above!

DoubleTree by Hilton offer a number of different wedding packages depending on the budget available and full details of these can be obtained directly from the hotel. All of the wedding packages also come with complimentary overnight accommodation for the bride and groom in a Luxury Bridal Suite.
