No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Carpeted dancing area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Parking while unloading/loading at front of building. Owner allowed us to park at rear of building during function. ACCESS: Unloading and loading is via the front door from being parked on the street outside. You need to be careful as there is limited parking at the front of the building on one side of the road and is a clearway on the other side. FACILITIES: Venue left space for a compact setup at one end of the very small function room. Space was just enough for 2m deck stand and 2 t-bars with speakers set in front of t-bars. This is an old traditional coaching inn with low ceilings and oak beams, so not a lot of headroom. Room much too small to use smoke. Room size approx 6 M square - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2m or less STAFF: Friendly, pleasant and helpful, a nice bunch. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "This is an old establishment, possibly 300 yrs, that the owners have tried to keep original. Stairs to the first floor were steep and narrow. Flight cases were unloaded at the bottom of the stairs and equipment carried up singularly. If you are carrying equipment up these stairs take extra special care." | |||||||
