This review was provided by 5 Star Discos Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: You can draw up in the loading area at the rear of the building. It is then at your discretion whether you want to leave it there or move to on street parking. Bear in mind you may get blocked in by another vehicle as it is tight, or the smoking barrier when the club night opens. ACCESS: From the loading area you move along a longish path, double back through a short subtle ramp into a single door which is a tight angle if using an extended trolley. Through the corrider through another single door into the disused canteen. To the end of there you turn left and through a set of double doors into the staircase area. Across that through another set of double doors and you are in the room. You set up on the side directly opposite that door. FACILITIES: Against the backwall. Plenty of height and space. Sockets are off to the right hand side with more available at the side walls. STAFF: Staff are great. Very nice and helpful. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Load in not the easiest but not the hardest either." | |||||||
