"As someone who used to live round the corner to the complex I found it to be an excellent addition to the area because although there are several venues nearby this one is more child friendly and not as big as the main community centre on Castle milk drive, although the staff who were friendly and helpful could not supply a buffet but were happy to recommend local caterers and Chinese delivery."

This review was provided by Bobby Mac Disco No sound limiter Temporary stage available Some useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Plenty of parking spaces, but go early and try and get close to the venue ACCESS: Either by the fire door or through the front door, take a trolley. FACILITIES: A big general purpose room sports gym hall - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: OK, but they showed a bias towards the resident dj. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Played there several times and its like a clique and its one of the staffs sons that is resident dj and when you bring in a different disco the staff at times can seem to be unhelpful. Go early and try and get your car van as close to the venue as possible because cars have been broken into in the past." | |||||||
