Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Adequate free onsight parking ACCESS: Access to the building is unrestricted but access to the function hall is via 3 sets of double doors. FACILITIES: Very poor set up area... instructed by the management to set up in a very small alclove/ recessed area which doubles as the clubs 'office'. Very little room to work and a struggle to fit in even a compact set up. On of the worse venues we've encountered for set up. Only 1 socket available and had to hunt the for another as the staff didn't know where they were located. Eventually found another socket behind a cupboard. STAFF: Overall staff were alright but a little demanding, regularly asking for announcements to be made telling guests to keep drinks off the dance floor etc. Had to decline a number of requests to make announcements due to unreasonable frequency and had to politely remind the venue mangement that we were not there to police the event. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Too much hassle" | |||||||
