This review was provided by Bobby Mac Disco Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Absolutely no parking there is a parking bay next to the loading bay, but its always full there is double yellow lines everywhere and and a police station 200 yards away, there are two NCP car parks nearby. ACCESS: One of the worst load ins ever, there is a loading bay but the council have put up bollards. Park in the street on the double yellows run round to reception where a member of staff will take you through the building down the lift where the staff will put the alarm of and let you in the back door up the lift and through the back of the stage area which is a dumping area for tables and chairs through a set of doors and you are only yards from the stage. but don't forget your car is downstairs an FACILITIES: Proper low permanent stage, very spacious. STAFF: Staff were great at getting me in and out and showing me where everything is, and they were on the ball with the cake cutting the timing of the hot buffet which had to be served right away and also the finishing time. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Lovely venue with great very helpful staff, just beware there is absolutely no parking, but there are two NCP car parks within easy reach" | |||||||
