Haze/smoke allowed No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area PARKING: Plenty of parking out front - probably enough for 15-20 cars. Can get a large van in and turned. There is a path leading to the main doors that can be reversed up to bring the vehicle directly in front of the main doors. ACCESS: Easy access with no steps. easy for wheeling equipment across and all double doors for wider loads. Function room is adjacent to entry hall. FACILITIES: Plain rectangular hall with only 2 doors to worry about wiring around (if needed). Good power availability with a number of double sockets at the far end of the hall and sockets on the side walls. n nNo stage - single flat floor. Fairly high ceilings and the room has a fair bit of echo with bare walls all around. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Polite enough. Seem to be sticklers for getting out at the end of the booking time. It might be worth checking with the booker that they understand that the room needs to be cleared by the end of their booking time - there is no additional pack up time. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "There are no street lights in the village surrounding the venue. If you have a gig in the winter - take a torch. There are some movement sensor lights around the building, but it is pitch black. If you drop something in the car park, you will struggle to find it.
