This review was provided by 5 Star Discos Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: You can get allocated a parking space at the National Gallery which is free and you can access after 5pm. There is an automatic gate which opens when you draw up. ACCESS: You park at the barrier at the pedestrianised zone and lift/rol your equipment aceoss the zoom to the front door (stairs or a ramp which is further away). in through a door and sign in with security. You go into the lift in front of you and down to level 1. From there you come out and go along the long corridor and turn left along that corridor until you reach the shop. Once you get to the shop you go through that and arrive at the doors to the performance room. You setup in that corner. FACILITIES: In the corner. Lots of height and width but abit of an akward position which has you not pointing directly at the dance floor. Plenty of sockets within easy reach. STAFF: Nice and helpful POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Great venue. Load in is a trek but you get a free parking space which doesnt happen very often in Edinburgh city centre." |
