No sound limiter Some useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Parking is plentiful lots of room to park up and load into venue the only disadvantage is where the main access door is there is walkway with railings so you do have to walk round make sure you park your car van as close to the walkway as poss ACCESS: Access is good although the lift was out of service and the stairs are very steep this is a bit tricky if carrying in heavy p.a this was in my opinion my only fault of the venue FACILITIES: Good area although there are potentially other areas you could set up in within the room only downside i found was 1 double plug socket on the wall in set up no stage area although there is a raised area with stairs in the corner however this looked as though it wasnt in use - width available: 2-3m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: Staff were very polite and courteous helpful aside the lift being broken for load in load out this was a clean and tidy venue POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "all in all a this seems a very satisfactory venue the only downside was as this was a surprise party i was appearing at i aimed to be onsite for 6pm ish as set-up for myself is 1 hour minimum and client had requested for everything to be set up and running before the birthday guest arrived i arrived at 6.10pm and had to wait over 50mins to gain access along with the catering supplier to access the venue fortunately enough the birthday guest was able to be delayed untill 8pm arrival although load" | |||||||
