"Bembridge Youth and Community Centre is an increasingly popular multi-purpose venue fit for a wide range of uses, from parties and exhibitions to education and leisure classes. Light, airy, comfortable and with full disabled access, the facility's central Steyne Park setting and adjacent car park make it the perfect venue of choice.
Warm days and balmy summer evenings make the venue particularly attractive, as the snack bar leads to a spacious outside balcony area and nearby children?s play area. All in all, the BYCC is a versatile WiFi-enabled location, ideal for corporate events, private and children?s parties, receptions, charity events, awards and presentation evenings, sports and social events, discos, exhibitions, fairs and workshops. Music nights are particularly popular and recent events include Retro Disco and bands including The Mechanix and the Lonesome Valley Boys. Other social nights include darts, games and quizzes. The main hall already hosts a wide range of activities including weekly classes covering everything from Zumba to table tennis, there?s even a weekly art class.
The BYCC also extends hospitality to local football and cricket clubs as well as providing facilities for local schools. The bar area is becoming increasingly popular, and is open every Friday and Saturday from 6pm for evening events and Sundays 12 ? 4pm for families to enjoy a games afternoon. As the BYCC gains more popularity with locals and as more bookings come in for evening events, it hopes to extend its opening hours."
