Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Bit of a disaster for unloading as it is a single track lane, but can reverse up the track a bit to where it's wider. ACCESS: Ramp from the unloading area, but the chances are you will have to move once or twice so other cars can get past from either way. FACILITIES: Two main areas. They try to shove you in the recessed area as the room is "L" shaped, but refuse to set up there and they will let you set up on the back wall (next to loading/fire exit door) that way you can see the entire room rather than a blank wall. STAFF: Staff don't really seem to know what they are doing. It's a matter of taking control yourself and telling them what to do and when. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Take your own drinks. If you decide to buy a drink then make sure it is from a bottle." | |||||||

FACILITIES: Two main areas. Just inside the entrance door is probably the best, set up at a slight angle to cover the room. Other area is at the other end of the room which has more room as it's against the rear wall so is the width of the room STAFF: Staff here are better than the Conservatory, which means it must be the way the different managers direct their staff. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach | |||||||

Access to the venue loading doors is via a service road that is shared with another organisation so it can become busy. BEWARE, there are gates on the service road that are locked at sundown so I had to drive over a lawn to access loading area at the end of the night. ACCESS: Access is via a short ramp and a single door into the Conservatory. Only about 40ft from van to set up area. FACILITIES: At the far end of the conservatory with power sockets. STAFF: Polite and very helpful duty manager POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Nice venue with very helpful and pleasant staff." | |||||||
