No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided PLI requested PAT requested No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Carpeted dancing area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: You can park outside the main from door whilst unloading, then usually street parking is easy. nOn occasion you can park in the rear car park if necessary, but hand your keys in at reception so they can move it if they need to. ACCESS: We usually load up from the front door. Even though the room is "ground floor" there are 4 steps up and 5 steps down to get in the room. There is also a fire exit, but this also has some steps and doesnt really save you any time. FACILITIES: They usually ask you to set up in between the bay windows, and the dance floor is under the rolled up carpet. nThe Wedgwood now has its own BOSE sound system, so you simply plug in and go. However, they ask that all new DJs call ahead so that someone can be there to help set up and manage their system. - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: The staff are amazing, all very helpful and knowledgeable. However, you must now also announce "no drinks on the dance floor" every 20 mins. This is a hotel policy POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area | |||||||

Leave your keys with reception in case they need to move it. ACCESS: There are two ways in - either up 4 steps and through reception, or up the fire escape steps (about 20 steps) from the back car park. nOption 1 is definitely the easiest. n FACILITIES: Its a large square room, and you DJ from the bay window area. Its my favourite room in the St George as everyone sits around you, and the bar is just opposite. So you dont lose people to other areas. nThe danceflodor is under the carpet which the venue roll up. nThere is now a fitted BOSE sound system in the room, so no need for speakers :-) - width available: 2m or less - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: The staff are amazing and really helpful. However, they will expect you to be trained before using their sound system for the first time. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area | |||||||
