This review was provided by Rikki's Mobile Disco and Events No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: Very difficult to find the venue room if you have never been here before. This place is huge and like a maze. I picked up a member of the catering staff who came with me to find the room. You can park outside the fire door and this will take you straight inside the room onto a large stage. ACCESS: Park outside a small fire door. It is a small, low door and you may need to duck your head to get in! Up a few steps and you are on the stage . No issues at all. FACILITIES: Large stage set up inside a very long room inside the castle. nVery high ceiling. Smoke / haze not allowed due to it being a castle. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Good POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The room itself is very long and narrow. There are 2 x power sockets on 1 side of the stage. On the other side, you will need an extension as the power sockets are off the stage. No smoke allowed because its a castle. The view from this venue is fantastic! A really nice looking place to work." | |||||||
