This review was provided by 5 Star Discos Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: There is a decent sized car park t othe front and side of the hotel. You shouldnt struggle to get a space. ACCESS: Up a few steps outside (3) In the main door, along a short corridor and you are in the sort of reception room where you set up. You set up at the window to the left. Fairly easy get in. FACILITIES: You set up against the window. Decent wee space for a small compact set up. It is in a sott of sitting room beside the main restaurant so there isnt really any seating and no directly line of sight for the guests if they are in the restaurant section so it can be a challenge to get them to come through and dance. - width available: 2-3m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Waiting staff were friendly, Manager was a bit abrupt verging on rude when I question where and when I was to set up. Set up area POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Fairly nice little local venue, Get the impression they dont do many Weddings.
