This review was provided by Disco Inferno Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Excellent, large car park although it can get busy on match days however you will get a good space close to the function room at the end of the night ACCESS: Excellent, a series of gentle ramps from the car parking area, through two double doors, the second with a 2 inch lip, a good trolley rides it easily, stage is right next to the door FACILITIES: Medium size stage although quite low, about 1 foot, two double power points either side but away from the stage STAFF: Good friendly staff and no pressure at the end of the night to take down quickly POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The room has great acoustics and is a perfect medium sized hall" | |||||||

Not a bad thing but when setting down is not recommended to put equipment on the floor. ACCESS: Great Access large Double doors and normally locals hold it open to you. You can park quite close to the main venue which is really handy. FACILITIES: Setup area can vary due to what event or meeting the venue had previous. Ask the landlady before moving things around, normally not a problem but is always worth asking. - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Nice staff if you are good to them. Its a very local venue and run by the same people for years. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "A good venue, does lack atmosphere to both main room and separate function room on the side. " | |||||||
