Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Difficult. There is a car park to the front and the rear. You will be lucky to find a space out front and around the back has limited spaces available. ACCESS: Fraught with difficulty. Unload at the front entrance (tight squeeze to fit vehicle), be aware to do this you will be blocking several parking spaces and may be asked to move at any minute. n n nThrough the front doors and up a steep ramp or adjoining steps. nThere is a lift to the second floor. This lift is very small and has a set of door to wheel equipment into but upon reaching the second floor has a set of doors adjacent to the first to exit. This means it is extremely difficult to manoeuvr FACILITIES: There is a permanent dancefloor area at the far end of the function room in front of a fire place. The rest of the room is carpeted but due to the space available you will probably be forced to set-up your console on the dancefloor. This will cause massive amount of shaking and wobbling when you have just a few dancers on the floor. nTables and chairs around the perimeter of the room further reduce set-up space available. nThere are 6 plug sockets within easy reach. - width available: 3-4m - he STAFF: The staff are friendly and may offer assistance. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "This room gets incredibly hot during the evening, even with all the windows open and does not appear to have air conditioning. Take plenty of refreshments and perhaps a towel." | |||||||
