Permanent wooden dancefloor Blinds/curtains provided PLI requested PAT requested No useable in-house lighting effects SOUND LIMITER (not sensitive) No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Plenty of parking within a very short distance of the main entrance way. Hit or miss as to whether you are very close or a very short walk away. ACCESS: You can unload directly at the main front doors. The it is up a couple of exterior steps, through a very short entrance hall and you are then in the Grand Hall which is the main area usually given over to the disco. FACILITIES: Adequate space, though not huge. The hall also functions as a through way to the other rooms on the ground floor, bar and toilets etc. - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: The venue/wedding manager, was helpful and informative. She will explain the noise level procedure and other venue particulars. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The sound limiter is set higher than most at around 96db. A good traffic light system is in operation of the limiter itself. The room is wood panelled and floored so the sound is well contained and effective at the forced volume. Occasionally you may stray into the amber zone but the unit has a delay so will not immediately cut you off at the first red light. You will not need subs/bass bins if you have effective tops." | |||||||
