Haze/smoke allowed No sound limiter Air conditioned Vinyl or stone floor area for dancing No useable in-house lighting effects No windows No stage area PARKING: There is a dedicated space next to the rear loading doors for the entertainer. Park and stay here all gig. ACCESS: From the parking space carry the kit through the loading door into the sports hall. Setup wherever seems convenient. Quick and easy, basically a doddle. FACILITIES: Pick a place and set the kit up. The hall is huge so large speakers are required. - width available: at least 5m - height clearance: over 4m STAFF: Nice manager, helps where he can, kept us fed and watered. There are certainly worse venues to work in than this. POWER PROVISION: Long extensions (up to 25m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "PLI / PAT / CRB / DBS / PRO - full legals pack was requested. The hall is huge and can cope with around 1000 guests. The sockets are mounted very high up the on the walls - longish extensions required to get to them. Take BIG speakers as they are needed. Lights are quite ineffective here - lots of lasers needed." | |||||||
