They do open up the lower gates and allow the entertainer to come into the loading area and leave the van there all gig. ACCESS: Park in loading area next to the stone staircase. Carry kit up two flights of stairs, through a single, narrow access door into the function room. Stage is directly to the right. FACILITIES: High, wide stage at the rear of the room. Loads of space and sockets. Ideal. STAFF: Typical WMC staff. Friendly, polite, offered to help carry the gear, no problems here. Last orders are 23:45, music off at 00:00. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in easy reach ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The venue has several function rooms of varying shapes and sizes. The main upstairs function room is suitable for up to 180 guests, has a large dance floor and a raised seating area.
