No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Parking is tricky, they sometimes have some spaces available on some wasteland up the street some distance. ACCESS: Unloading is difficult, you may be able to park near the front to unload, but be prepared to have to move a few times during loading unloading to let people in or out. FACILITIES: No specific setup area, just a corner at the back of the room. STAFF: Staff are not the best, they will either have guests eating just behind a curtain unrelated to the event, complaining about the music level, or other guests unrelated to the event above the party complaining about the music level. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "This venue has a serious problem because the function room is separated from the dinning room with just a curtain. Hotel guests eating in the dining room don't want to hear the music from the wedding party and so will complain. The staff then complain to the DJ forcing them to turn it down. The bridal party then get annoyed because the party is spoiled and want the DJ to turn it up. Whatever the DJ does he will be at fault with one or the other." | |||||||
