This review was provided by Robbies Roadshow Disco Ltd Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided Air conditioned No useable in-house lighting effects Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Limited parking when two functions are on. Not good in the summer, ok when venue is not busy. Get there early and you can reverse around the rear of the building right up the the basement steps ACCESS: Very good/easy in the daylight, absolutely dangerous at night FACILITIES: Raised stage area for performing, ideally situated next to fire exit/entrance to function suite. Plenty of power sockets in good condition. - width available: 3-4m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Very pleasant POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Access to function suite via steps down to basement. There is a step UP (which stops surface water cascading down into the building) before concrete and metal steps downwards. The handrails are missing, broken off due to being rotten, the security light automatically switches off too quickly, plunging the stairwell into darkness as you are 1/2 way down. The steps are very slippery when wet. Take your time and proceed with caution." | |||||||
