This review was provided by Bobby Mac Disco Permanent wooden dancefloor Low permanent stage No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Small dirt car park. ACCESS: Go early to try and get close, and there are three sets of steps about six in a row then a short landing for each one up another step then through two sets of double doors and across the dance-floor to the stage . FACILITIES: Proper stage in what one of the committee described as the concert room when I arrived. - width available: 4-5m - height clearance: 3-4m STAFF: Mostly pensioners just pointed me in the right direction and let me get on with it. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Big old hall, quite hard to find even with sat-nav, it tells you you here but the hall is set up a lane and behind a row of cottages, small car park and stairs to negotiate then a small step two sets of double doors into the room. The room was always cold with people going in and out and the guests all leave by the same door on the way when you are taking the gear out. Oh! and one last thing the toilets are miles away down stairs so watch what you drink. " | |||||||
