Permanent wooden dancefloor No sound limiter Blinds/curtains provided No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited PARKING: Depending if any staff are there when you arrive, you can park in the Staff Bay right next to the entrance doors. Failing that, there is a car park around the rear of the building which would mean a 40m walk. ACCESS: Access is by a slight gradient, no more that kerb height, into the double doors, then a slightly longer ramp into the room. FACILITIES: Bit of a strange one, the building is "L" shaped with Bands & Disco usually setting up in the bottom left corner of the "L". - width available: 4-5m - height clearance: 2-3m STAFF: Treasurer seems a bit of a jobsworth. Chairman is ok. Bar Staff are sticklers for times. POWER PROVISION: Plenty of 13A sockets in close proximity to setup area ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The long room is probably around 25m with Snooker Table at the end, it is only around 8m wide and the sound gets lost about halfway down. Would recommend a good powerful system in this venue, the sound needs to punch its way down the long room." | |||||||
