Decent house lighting rig available Blinds/curtains provided Raised floor area No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area Haze/smoke prohibited SOUND LIMITER - Moderately sensitive PARKING: There is parking round the side of the building. ACCESS: If you can get a parking space next to the stairwell fire escape then you just have to carry equipment up to first floor which leads via short corridor straight into function room. Note that DJ area is opposite end of the room. Also note that when clearing up the above route may be locked in which case you have a slightly longer route to carry your equipment. FACILITIES: There is a small slightly raised stage area which is sufficient for a typical DJ booth and a lighting stand behind. Note with tables and chairs setup round the room your speakers may need to be off the stage but quite tight next to stage/booth, and I had to turn down the bass to stop the stage becoming a booming soundboard. STAFF: The bar staff were very helpful. POWER PROVISION: Short extensions (up to 5m) required ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "Note the room had fairly high ceiling, however the small stage had standard 2-3m height. Note also the room appeared to have some decent permanent lights fitted but I did not connect to them, but potentially worth asking the venue about using them if you are performing here." | |||||||
